The Cocoon Terra Polished Steel Bioethanol Fireplace with Steel Legs pairs Federico Otero’s rounded fireplace shell with a three-legged freestanding base. The polished surface reflects the room around it, while the dark interior draws attention to the real flame. Its compact, sculptural form makes it a distinctive focal point in a carefully planned living space.

This is the polished-steel shell with steel legs, not the black finish, a pedestal base or a suspended model. The manually operated bioethanol burner provides decorative flame and supplementary warmth without an electrical connection or chimney. It is not intended as a primary heater or for continuous operation.

Specifications

Placement and safe use

Place the assembled fireplace on a rigid, level, load-bearing floor where its legs cannot wobble and where it will not be knocked by passing traffic. Keep the opening away from combustible surfaces. The Terra manual specifies a minimum 100 cm radius to combustible materials; also follow its ceiling, floor and wall-clearance diagrams. Keep curtains, furniture, papers and other movable combustible items outside the safety area.

Use only in a suitably sized, well-ventilated room. A chimney is not required, but this does not remove the need for fresh air: burning bioethanol consumes oxygen and releases combustion gases. Have room volume, ventilation and all clearances checked against the supplied manual before use. Do not use in bedrooms, bathrooms or small unsuitable rooms, or in draughts that disturb the flame.

Never refill a lit or hot burner. Extinguish the flame and wait at least 45 minutes, and until fully cool, before removing the combustion chamber for refilling. Do not overfill; follow the marked maximum level and the manual’s spill procedure. Keep the appliance attended and children and pets away. Never move it while lit, hot or containing a combustion chamber that could spill fuel.

The displayed price includes standard delivery within the supported England and Wales delivery area. Delivery is kerbside and does not include carrying the fireplace into the property, installation or building work. Check access and arrange suitable help to receive the delivery.

Supplied with a two-year product warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms and correct installation, use and maintenance. Keep your proof of purchase and the supplied documentation. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
