A three-sided architectural flame view
The FOCO Three 1500 Built-in Bioethanol Fireplace is a 150 cm-wide insert designed for a projecting fireplace feature. The front and both short sides are open, while the opaque black rear panel provides a defined backdrop to the flames. The simple black steel form suits a considered contemporary interior without disguising the fire behind a closed front.
The approved configuration includes two Superior 60 cm manual burners, each with a 3.5-litre fuel capacity. Two separate flame sections create a balanced display across the wider frame. The flame is lit manually and adjusted or extinguished with the supplied tool. It needs neither electricity nor a chimney, but does require suitable room ventilation and a correctly constructed heat-resistant installation.
Included configuration
- FOCO Three 1500 black steel built-in frame.
- Two Superior 60 cm stainless-steel manual burners, 3.5 litres each.
- Extinguishing / adjustment tool and burner instructions.
- Three low tempered-glass panels, six glass holders and frame assembly fittings.
Automatic burners, remote or app control, fuel, optional full-height side glass, decorative logs and surrounding construction are not included. Room scenes show installation ideas rather than a supplied media-wall package.

Installation and ventilation
Build the fireplace into a stable, level, heat-resistant structure, following the FOCO installation guide and the manual supplied with the burners. Where surrounding construction is combustible, a correctly designed fire-resistant insulating system is essential. The frame dimensions are not a substitute for recess dimensions or safety clearances. Installation and building work are not included.
Bioethanol burns with a real flame, consumes oxygen and releases carbon dioxide. Use only in an adequately sized, well-ventilated room, with at least the ventilation opening required in the burner manual. Assess room volume and ventilation for both burners together, not a single burner in isolation. No-flue operation does not mean no ventilation. Keep furniture, curtains and other combustible objects clear of the fire; the burner manual specifies at least 50 cm to the left, right and front, and the installation guide must also be followed.
This is a decorative fireplace and not a primary heating system. The burner manual warns that using multiple burners above its stated 4.5 kW room-output limit has not been tested. The installer must assess the intended operating configuration and ventilation rather than assume that both burners can be used at maximum in any room. A television above a fire requires a separately designed heat-protection arrangement and the television manufacturer’s clearances; the fireplace is not supplied as a TV-safe enclosure.
Using the manual burner
Use only the specified bioethanol fuel. Never refill a lit or hot burner; extinguish it completely and allow it to cool fully for the interval in the supplied instructions before refilling. Do not exceed the maximum fill mark and never light spilled fuel. Keep a suitable fire extinguisher or fire blanket accessible, supervise the fire while it is burning, and keep children and pets away. Do not move or modify the appliance while in use or hot.

Planning your fireplace installation
Before your electric or bio-ethanol fireplace is installed, check the intended wall or alcove proportions and confirm the clearances specified by the manufacturer.
For electric models, ensure a suitable power supply is available at the installation point.
For bio-ethanol models, confirm adequate ventilation.
Our team can help with fitting, power or placement questions before you order, so everything is clear ahead of installation.
