The freestanding design gives the fireplace the presence of a piece of furniture while keeping its form simple and uncluttered.

Designed by Federico Otero, this indoor Cocoon fireplace burns liquid bioethanol in a manually controlled burner. It is not an electric or water-vapour fireplace. The polished steel finish is the selected model; matte-black versions are not supplied under this listing.

Everyday use

The 1.5-litre Cocoon 2.0 burner provides an adjustable flame, with up to five hours of burning per fill depending on the setting and conditions. It requires neither electricity nor a chimney, but adequate room ventilation and the clearances in the installation manual remain essential.

Use the supplied operating tool to adjust or extinguish the flame as instructed. Never refill while the burner is lit or hot. Allow the combustion chamber to cool fully, avoid overfilling and clean up any spilt fuel before ignition. Do not leave a burning fireplace unattended or move it during operation.

Specifications

Product code

BIO-70-104

Designer

Federico Otero

Finish

Polished steel

Format

Freestanding pedestal

Shell diameter

60 cm

Listed weight

27 kg

Burner

Cocoon 2.0 Burner System

Fuel

Bioethanol, as specified in the operating manual

Capacity

1.5 litres

Burn time

Up to 5 hours

Control

Manual; no remote control

Power supply

Not required

Flue / chimney

Not required

Use

Indoor

Overall height

74 cm

Base diameter

40 cm

Installation and safe use

This is a decorative real-flame appliance, not a primary heating system or an appliance for continuous operation.
